Our mission is to create a Christian atmosphere in which each child is loved and respected.  We take very seriously our responsibility to care for the young children entrusted to us.  As part of this responsibility, we strive to educate them developmentally around their physical, social, emotional, psychological, spiritual and intellectual growth and well being.

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT

Early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploration and discovery.  Children at this age are creative and receptive, therefore, Guardian Angel is a place where a child works with concepts and ideas concretely.  This is done by handling familiar objects and manipulating them before dealing abstractly with the concepts on paper.

OBJECTIVES

To care for the child and foster his/her development in a culturally-rich, nonsexist environment
To encourage the growth of creativity and receptivity in each child and to develop an appreciation for beauty and nature
To give each child opportunities to gain competence in a variety of life's skills and techniques by providing a safe and healthy environment, pleasant atmosphere, companionship and an approach to holistic growth emanating from the love and care of responsible staff
To provide a quality Christian education for the young child in accordance with the practices and teachings of the WORD and the professional standards required by the State of Wisconsin and NAEYC
Religious instruction at our Center consists of providing a loving and accepting Christian atmosphere in which we accept the responsibility to care for and nurture those around us.

Through simple prayers, songs and stories, the message that God loves and cares for each of us and asks us to care for each other is conveyed to the children.  Religious holidays of all faiths are celebrated and explained to the children in a manner in which they can be understood and appreciated.
