We are all called to serve God.  The Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida extend an invitation to all who are called to God to serve the poor.  Joining through vowed membership may not be what you are called to do.  Men and women who want to share in our vision through their own lifestyles, may consider an associate membership.  Associates gather for prayer and sharing and live out the mission of the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida in their own way.

Our criteria for men and women considering Associate Membership include:

• a desire to deepen their baptismal call to live the Gospel values more fully
• a desire to live the spirit and the charism of St. Joan Antida in their personal life, work, and ministry
• a passion and love for the poor
• an active pursuit of spiritual growth
• the possession of wholesome character and emotional maturity
• financial and legal independence from the community

Associates benefit from a deepened baptismal commitment, a shared faith journey, sharing in the charism of service to the poor with the Sisters of Charity, and an enriched spiritual life.
