General Policies and Information 

Beautiful grounds, spacious meeting rooms and comfortable private quarters make Bethany Retreat Center a wonderful place to come for personal or group prayer and reflection or meetings for a day or overnight.    

OUR MISSION

Bethany Retreat Center focuses on accepting reservations  for adult groups/individuals who are looking for a place to nurture their spirituality, build and strengthen their faith community or enhance their ministry.  The center does not, however, provide spiritual directors or facilitators.

ACCOMODATIONS

  • The Main Dining Room, Meeting Room and Chapel can hold up to a maximum of 40 people.
  • Overnight accommodations are limited to 10 individuals (18 with double occupancy).
  • RESERVATIONS

  • Reservations are accepted for individuals and groups on a first come, first served basis.  To make a reservation, please call (414)-354-9233 Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • A final participant count is required at least one week (7 days) prior to your scheduled date of arrival.  This final count defines the minimum number of participants for billing purposes. 
  • Cancellations are accepted, however, those made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled reservation will require a payment equal to one-third (1/3) of the total anticipated cost of the reservation. 
  • A 10% downpayment is required to hold a reservation.  In the event of a cancellation, it will NOT be refunded, nor can it be transferred to another scheduled reservation.  The downpayment must be received within one week of receipt of the billing invoice.

  • There must be a minimum number of 10 people in the group to accept a request for a meal prepared by the Bethany Food Staff. 
  • Groups of less than 10 have other options.  Please follow the "details" link for all options available to large or small groups and individuals.
  • GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Bethany Retreat Center is a smoke free facility
  • Bethany Retreat Center shares common areas with the Sisters who live at this facility as well as with the administrative offices of the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida.  It might be necessary for the Sisters to walk through the meeting room to get to other areas of their home.  Certain areas are off limits to Retreat Center guests.
  • For security, the outside doors to the facility are locked at all times.  It is necessary to ring the doorbell at the entrance off the parking lot to gain entry.
